BRR collaborates with Walmart to improve their diverse supply chain system through innovative distribution center design. Dan Popp, one of our Industrial Program Managers explains, “Enhancing the employee experience with office remodeling and warehouse climate control continues to come to the forefront of industrial design as employee and consumer needs evolve. When it comes to perishable distribution centers, the control of water vapor and moisture tends to be a significant driver in many aspects of the building’s design. As these types of distribution centers become more vital, we will see major advancements in automation and sustainability of these facilities.”

Our team's work on the StudioRes brand continues. “StudioRes is a unique addition to the Marriott portfolio, combining the essentials of economy extended-stay to meet the needs and standards of Bonvoy travelers,” said Culin A. Thompson, AIA, WELL AP, BRR associate and lead architect. “If we had taken the same design approach as past economy extended-stay hotels, we wouldn't have met the goals of all parties involved in helping to drive a new brand forward. Every aspect of this project needed to be critically analyzed and adapted to meet guest, developer and Marriott expectations.”
