The BridgeAID system, utilised in critical bridge intersections for traffic monitoring, includes sensors installed directly on the bridge structure. 💡 Why It Matters: Overweight vehicles deteriorate infrastructure and induce fatigue in bridges. BridgeAID elevates engineering and management decision-making to new heights, enabling predictive and effective interventions that ensure the longevity and safety of our vital infrastructure.  Leveraging artificial intelligence improves weight determination accuracy, aiding in tracking structural changes over time. Enhanced vehicle detection leads to short-term revenue for infrastructure maintainers and increased safety, while long-term benefits include reduced maintenance costs. After months of hard work, we're proud to share our achievements, including securing second place at the prestigious MNB & Hungarian Innovation Hub Startup Pitch Competition in December 2023 and the Danube Cup International Pitch Competition in 2024. 🎉🏆 Our dedicated team includes structural engineers Attila László Joó, Dénes Kollár, VÖLGYI István (PhD), and Ágnes Kenéz, who specialize in measurements and structural analysis, alongside computer science engineers Bence Szinyéri and Bence Kővári, who focus on machine learning and software development.
