This May, in partnership with SAFY of KY, we are lighting our campus blue to highlight #FosterCareAwarenessMonth. Spotlighting foster care is more important than ever. Over 8,000 children and teenagers are currently experiencing foster care in Kentucky. Over 200 times last year, children under the state’s care were forced to sleep in state offices, at state parks, or in hospitals because of a shortage of foster homes.
