Over the weekend, we supported The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester's Cornhole for a Cause tournament! Big thanks to Brendan and Madison for representing the Boulter team. We may not have taken first place, but we had a great time supporting a great cause!

We wrapped up our fourth year at FuzeHub's NYS Innovation Summit, and what can we say? It’s great to be back in a place that truly celebrates manufacturing and innovation in New York! While the industry faces ongoing challenges like housing, labor, skilled workforce shortages, and sustainability, events like this bring leaders together to explore real solutions. It’s all about tackling challenges with fresh perspectives and creative thinking. Paul Guglielmo said it best, "If you can find a problem to solve, you're innovative." Jeffrey Smith "Chip" starts his mornings like a lot of us—wrangling ducks, bunnies, and chickens in the yard while trying to get his three kids ready for school. From complex to downright colossal, he's making sure everything runs smoothly. Discover what a day in Chip’s shoes as a project manager really looks like.

Join us in welcoming Kemani to the team! After spending several years in education, Kemani made the decision to pursue a new career as an Ironworker. What's his favorite part of work so far? He’s loved how welcoming everyone has been since he started, making the transition even better. A fun fact about Kemani is that he enjoys photography in his free time. We’re excited to have him on board!

Tyler’s always known he’d end up in the trades – he grew up around it, working with his grandfather on marine construction and excavation. After completing a Welding and CNC Machining program, he spent a few years in pole barn construction before deciding to get back into a more technical trade, which led him to the millwrights and, eventually, to us! Fun fact: When he’s not working, Tyler loves riding and working on motorcycles. Welcome, Tyler!

Ever wondered what our project managers looked like when they first started their skilled trades journey? And what advice would they give to anyone thinking about a career in the trades? "Take the time to think and listen before you react —it's critical in this line of work. Safety and precision depend on making thoughtful decisions. Always be open to learning; no matter how long you've been doing this, there's always something new to pick up. The equipment evolves, challenges shift, and every project is unique. Patience, communication, and a willingness to continuously improve are key to success in this industry."- Jeremy Foss
