  • On National Wildlife Day, we often highlight our favorite glamour mammals. But the small critters are just as important! 🐍 Take the sand lance, for example: https://ow.ly/qY0w50TflCV Commonly mistaken for an eel, this small fish is vital to the ocean food web. While our wildlife research may sometimes focus on small species, like the sand lance, these studies have significant impacts. We use this information to inform our decisions and how to best protect marine life and their habitats. #UnleashingtheScience https://ow.ly/IAgA50TflCR
