In the U.S., heat-related worker deaths have doubled since the early 1990s. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s proposed federal heat standard establishes clear guidelines to protect workers from heat-related hazards including access to cool water and shade, paid rest breaks, and training on the signs of #heatstress.
