This weekend, we honored and celebrated over 40 breast cancer survivors at our #DrivefortheCure250 with Charlotte Motor Speedway. To see the faces of those who have fought their battles and won, to hear stories of perseverance and encouragement for those currently fighting makes this one of our favorite events of the year.

"There is no way to sugar coat it, this is horrible." Linda Pryor in Henderson County would normally be in her busy season with fall harvest but instead has turned her focus on getting resources and aid to her neighbors.
The North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation video team headed to WNC post-Helene to talk to some of our farmers about the damage they suffered. We spent a day with Linda Pryor in Henderson County. Her family lost a lot of apples and corn in the storm. Anyone who knows Linda knows how strong she is. I mean she is tough as nails. But as we interviewed her, she let her guard down and we saw her at one of her most vulnerable moments. And to be honest, it was the strongest I’ve ever seen her! And I am so proud of how she’s using her strength to get through this awful time! #ncfarmbureau #helene Writer: Me Anchor: Lynda Loveland Photographer: Mark Stebnicki American Farm Bureau Federation
