It’s been one year since the grand opening of our Leesburg facility, and we couldn’t be more proud. The new warehouse and yard have streamlined our operations, boosting both organization and productivity. This upgrade has allowed us to effortlessly manage the division’s growing sales. We look forward to a continued partnership with our valued customers Maronda Homes, D.R. Horton, KB Home, Southern Crown Homes, and The Villages®. Here’s to many more years of serving Central Florida and beyond!

Blackton Inc.’s Leesburg Manager Clay Weaver made some laps at the Chin Track Days event held at Barber Motorsports Park alongside Tony, Alec, and Brian from Southern Crown Homes . Collaborating with these exceptional individuals during the week is always a pleasure, and sharing the track with them on the weekend was an absolute thrill. We’d like to give a big thank you to Corsa Crew for the Arrive and Drive track rentals and providing our crew with the ultimate VIP treatment. Congratulations to Cristhian Marrero for being awarded “Most Outstanding Trade Supervisor” of the Quarter by Ashton Woods Homes! We were honored to have Matt Grundon, Senior Project Manager of Ashton Woods' Orlando Division, visit our corporate office to present the award in person. Matt shared his appreciation for Cristhian, emphasizing how his efforts make a real difference in the field. He praised Cristhian as “truly the most valuable field contact” on the team, always responding to every need with a “No problem” attitude and being exactly where they need him, when they need him. We couldn't be more proud of Cristhian. His hard work and dedication have not only earned him our admiration but also the recognition of our valued customer. . Stacy joined Blackton’s HR team 3 years ago. She is a team player willing to help anytime she is called on and always has a smile on her face. She has been my right hand since day one and I’m so grateful to have her on my team. She gives 110% in everything she does. Outside of Blackton Stacy is very involved with her church and giving back to the community. She is also a wife and takes great care of her family. We had the pleasure of welcoming Jose Carbonell, Ricardo Oliveira, and Thomas Latos from Schluter Systems to provide training to the Blackton team on their Kerdi Shower System and Ditra Installation System. They delivered an in-depth classroom session followed by a live demonstration of the application and installation of these products. We were also delighted to have members of Ashton Woods Homes join us for this training. A big thank you to Todd Grether of Daltile for providing lunch for the group. Our friends at Schluter Systems gave an excellent presentation and enhanced our understanding of their installation systems. Thank you, gentlemen!

We're more than halfway through the year, and we're checking in on our resolutions! Consistency is the magic ingredient that turns goals into achievements. These are a few of the 2024 resolutions from our team when they were asked "What changes, accomplishments, enhancements, or learning objectives are you aiming for this year?" How are you keeping up with your ambitions?

Building Blocks Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that builds lives by encouraging others to dream, empowering them to believe in themselves, and engaging them in the community to achieve their dreams. Their Vision is the full inclusion and participation of individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of our community. Their mission is to empower adults with developmental disabilities to dream, believe in themselves, and engage in training designed to support individual achievements. Blackton Inc. donated flooring for their new facility in Groveland, Florida and we are honored to be listed on the donor wall as an “Achieve” donor. We’d like to thank Executive Director Paula Whetro for allowing Blackton Inc. to be a part of this milestone. It's incredibly fulfilling to support an organization that positively impacts the lives of others. We can’t wait for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house in October.
