This is an Important update in the treatment of locally advanced cervical cancer. A critical feature of this study is that the innovation is not the drugs, but a change in treatment protocol to achieve a clinically meaningful and statistically significant improvement in both progression-free survival and overall survival in women with locally advanced cervical cancer.
