Along with my team of architects, we were able to launch our first 'transactable' offering in the Azure Commercial Marketplace this week. It's an Azure Landing Zone that deploys a reference architecture for small workloads following the guidelines of Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) that can be expanded and is deployed via IaC (Infrastructure as Code). We had two goals with this proof of concept. First was to provide an 'accelerator' for clients that wish to begin their Azure cloud journey and provide a sample of a well architected solution to deploy small workloads into and answer the questions they may not be prepared for. Such as naming conventions, IP addressing, basic security, governance, etc. Second was to explore the boundaries of which we had to work within for deploying an IaC solution from the Azure Marketplace as an 'application' Looking forward to scaling and providing larger solutions. #AzureArchetype #AzureMarketplace #CloudAdoptionFramework

Been looking forward to seeing this show up in my Azure portal for a while! First impression from my initial 'conversations' with Copilot in Azure is that it helps you to answer questions 'in-line' with resource deployments. Often when creating new solutions in Azure for the first time (or second) you are prompted for input that you were not expecting or prepared for. Copilot provides you with the information you need to keep moving forward through an interview like experience taking into account security, best practices, CAF, etc. What are your first impressions?
