Meet Joe, a dedicated member of the BHI team since 2003! When Joe first joined BHI, we were just a small organization with three communities and a modest staff. Over the years, his role has evolved significantly, from compliance to risk management, insurance, foundation assistance, and even accounting. Joe holds a degree in accounting and brings a wealth of experience to his multifaceted position. He truly excels in every aspect of his work, and there’s nothing he can’t handle. What Joe loves most about working for BHI is our not-for-profit status, our Christian heritage, and our commitment to our residents and employees. He takes pride in serving and protecting our residents, acting as the eyes of the organization to help prevent any negative impacts on BHI and the people we serve. When asked for advice for someone starting out with BHI, Joe says, "Enjoy what you are doing and get to know those living and working in our communities. We continue to reflect on the amazing events that have occurred to celebrate and bring awareness to the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. On Thursday, June 20th, BHI Senior Living celebrated the Longest Day with a variety of events to raise Alzheimer's awareness. Residents, volunteers, and community members came together for activities including a car wash, bake sale, sports tournaments, and lively entertainment. Special thanks to all participants, volunteers, residents, and communities for their support and engagement in making the day a success. Together, we strengthened our community while supporting Alzheimer's awareness.
