Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego Changes Lives through quality youth programs and guidance in a safe, affordable, and fun environment. Great futures have been starting here for over 80 years. We serve kids of ages 5-18 with academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles programs at 23 community-based sites county-wide. We are making a difference in the lives of San Diego's future leaders - our youth!

This is our chance to celebrate the incredible work our board members do and the lasting impact they have. To start, we’re thrilled to recognize Joanne Sellner! Joanne’s dedication to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego is truly inspiring. Not only is she a dynamic leader, but she’s also committed to using her time, talent, and treasure to create opportunities for the youth in our community. As she puts it, "To whom much is given, much is expected." Her passion for empowering kids through our programs is at the heart of what we do. On July 27th, Brad led his 25th annual BOMA Community Work Party! Wow! A group of volunteers, along with the BSP team, came out to clean, paint, and landscape an important community center. In the words of Brad Stoner Painter Josh Winnett: "On a beautiful Saturday….Did some painting in a historical building in the heart of Logan Heights where a Boys & Girls Club resides. Doing such a thing for an organization that gives back to the community, especially to the youth felt very gratifying & refreshes the soul. It was also exciting to see the many positive volunteers with such gusto eager to seek & accept direction……The donated pastries, gourmet pizza, and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream was just a pleasant extra;)"
