There you have it! CMMC is officially "here." 32 CFR Part 170 has officially been published and goes in to effect in 60 days. In short, this means that CMMC can now be required (48 CFR likely arriving in Spring 2025). Questions to ask yourself: - Did you use NIST SP 800-171A (assessment guide for NIST SP 800-171) and the 320 assessment objectives for your compliance documentation? - Do you have a SRM from your external providers and cloud service providers? - Do you have an updated (at least annually) System Security Plan (SSP) that details your implementation of NIST SP 800-171?
