Last week, Berkley Mid-Atlantic had the pleasure of attending the AssuredPartners Mid-Atlantic Regional Leadership Meeting at the Live! Casino in Hanover, MD. Nabamita (Mita) Biswas, along with Evan Bogle, AINS, AU and Steven Davis did a great job representing us. It was fantastic for our team to reconnect with familiar faces and make new connections. September was Hunger Action Month and in keeping with the theme, our local Berkley Teams (led by Berkley Regional Shared Services, Berkley Mid-Atlantic, ESTech, Berkley Data and Analytics, Berkley Fire & Marine (a Berkley Company), Berkley Aspire (a Berkley Company) and Verus Specialty Insurance (a Berkley Company) ) hosted a food drive to support the Central Virginia Feed More organization. It was a wonderful opportunity for us all to come together and make a meaningful impact. There was a friendly competition amongst the businesses to collect the most food and while we did have a winner, the ultimate winner is our local community! With the support of the entire team, we were able to donate a total of 1,035 pounds of food! This is an incredible achievement; all credit due to the great people of Berkley! It was truly a testament to what we can accomplish together. A note from Feed More: “Your kindness makes a difference right here in our community - and across Central Virginia. We are thrilled to introduce you to the new president of Berkley Mid-Atlantic Insurance Group, Antonio Rhodes, JD ("Tony")! He joins BMAG with nearly 20 years of property and casualty insurance industry experience. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and head of property & casualty for a leading agency network and brokerage firm with countrywide responsibility for programs, central placement, and large and complex insurance. He's spent most of his career in the Mid-Atlantic region and has strong roots in Richmond, VA, graduating from VCU with a degree in History and from The University of Richmond Law School.  Outside of work, Tony enjoys golf, cooking and most of all, spending time and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
