🚀 Exciting Highlights from ATA Expo 2024 & National Level Impairathon! 🎉 Benetech Bookshare participated in this innovative event organized by the Karpagam Innovation and Incubation Council and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, alongside esteemed partners like Startup TN, Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing - TANCAM, and Cognizant. On October 8th and 9th, we welcomed #specialeducators, #printdisabled individuals, and non-disabled #students to our booth, where we showcased the importance of #accessibleebooks. Attendees learned how #Bookshare provides a vast collection of #ebooks across various subjects and languages, including Tamil, accessible on multiple platforms like #Android smartphones and #Windows computers. G Kumresan demonstrated how #printdisabled users can access e-books especially in #STEM using Dolphin EasyReader, highlighting features like easy heading navigation, image descriptions, and spelling assistance.
