Be Well Solutions is thrilled to celebrate the incredible dedication of Revere Local Schools to the health and well-being of their employees and spouses. Their commitment to a culture of wellness has led to remarkable health improvements among their wellness participants. After analyzing the wellness program data since 2012, the results speak volumes: - Participants aged 11 years but showed a decrease in modifiable risk factors. - The percentage of individuals with healthy triglyceride levels rose from 72% to 78%, reducing risks associated with heart disease, stroke, obesity, and metabolic syndrome. - Healthy blood pressure reading, the number one risk factor for stroke, improved significantly, jumping from 28% to 45%, suggesting ongoing improvement in cardiovascular health. - Against the national trend of annual weight gain of 1-2 pounds per year, this group maintained a stable BMI, with an average gain of just 6 pounds over 12 years. These achievements are a testament to the power of proactive wellness efforts.
