We are the home to more than a dozen self-regulation programs that set high standards for businesses and provide third-party accountability and dispute resolution services that help ensure a fair marketplace for consumers. BBB National Programs has worked with industry leaders and government regulatory agencies since 1971 to establish the standards that guide best practices in advertising, privacy, children’s and teen’s marketing, consumer warranty issues, and dispute resolution.

At #NAD24, live polling offered insights into how practitioners and NAD attorneys view the use of surveys in case evaluation. A majority of the audience feels more comfortable presenting survey data rather than relying on NAD to 'step into the shoes' of a consumer. Meanwhile, NAD attorneys shared a nearly balanced perspective, with a slight preference for using surveys over solely relying on their judgment. This session, “To Use or Not to Use: Experts, Surveys, and Some Practical Advice,” provided valuable perspectives on building a well-supported case.
