Organization & Leadership

BACR is overseen by a Board of Directors and is managed by the CEO, COO, CFO & CPO and a program based team of Industry Directors.

Expanded Learning Programs

We fulfill our Mission by providing safe and enriching after school opportunities to young people where they can learn to be productive, build positive adult and peer relationships, and participate in meaningful academic and enrichment activities. BACR provides after school programs in elementary, middle and high schools throughout the Bay Area. These programs are provided at school sites in partnership with local schools and school districts.

Behavioral Health / Healthy Communities

Behavioral Health We foster resiliency and prevent and/or reduce Mental Health-Substance Use problems in youth and adults through education, treatment and advocacy. Healthy Communities Our goal is to empower young people & families to make positive decisions about their health, education & family relationships. These programs foster the capacity of schools and communities to meet family needs, & promote academic achievement through relationship building, partnerships & collaboration.

National Service / Workforce and Reentry

National Service Our aim is to support and engage volunteers in providing service to improve the lives of youth in at-risk communities. Programs include: BAYAC AmeriCorps, Climate & Energy Corps, and Public Allies Workforce Development BACR provides the following services that focus on healthy development and employment for low income youth: Academic Support, Workforce Skill Building, Civic Engagement & Support
