Do employees say THANK YOU for the benefits you offer? Being in #humanresources and #benefits you rarely get told THANK YOU. Think about it: #HR and #benefits are THANKLESS positions. You RARELY are giving out "good news" and if you do... It's expected... "I work here... I deserve X,Y,Z" I always use the analogy of the flight attendant ✈️👨🏻✈️ When's the last time you got off the flight and said "THANK YOU.. y'all nailed it" on a "normal flight" 🥤your soda had the perfect amount of bubbles 🫧 🥨 your pretzels were adequately salted, but not too much 🧂 🛫 you took off on time and landed early 🛬 NOPE... that's what you expect. But if you are late⌚ Lost luggage 💼 Or the wifi is down 🛜🚫 You are telling the world🌐 Employees do the same with #benefits They only tell you about the NEGATIVE... Imagine if your #healthplan was designed so employees said "WOW... thank you... this is the BEST!" This is what we reviewed yesterday and I wanted to review the FACTS #numbersdontlie Friday: Amy Lein, SPHR, SHRM-SCP from Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida told us: 4️⃣ years = the last time they increase #employee costs 👨🏻⚕️DPC is a HIT.. voluntary enrollment has gone from 30% to over 80% 🆓 Employees pay $0 when they use the DPC or go to the recommended facility for care 📉 Costs (vs. the status quo) continue to DECREASE!!! Benjie Bates from Bates Hewett & Floyd told us: 🧑🏻⚕️his town of Palatka, Fl doesn't have enough primary care 🏥 the local hospital sees 2,500 ER visits monthly 🤯🤯🤯 🚗 employees were having to drive over an hour for care as an #adviser, he took these facts and helped his #publicsector client implement an advanced primary care location with PeopleOne Health... In less than the first quarter... they need more hours⌚ as employees and their families are LOVING it!!
