Two buildings in Edgemere Commons were recently featured on YIMBY. Building B1, developed in partnership with Tishman Speyer and Joy Construction Corp, is currently under construction. Building A1, developed by The Arker Companies and Slate Property Group, is opened for occupancy and will soon have a supermarket on the ground floor. At the Bergen County build site, the Recon Construction Corp. team has been working hard, digging through layers of rock. The driveway now has two tall walls creating a dramatic entryway to the house.

Under the Pact 12 program, nearly 2,000 residents at Eastchester Gardens are receiving $406 million in renovations, targeting apartment and common area upgrades. We are privileged to take part in the transformation of this New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) complex. Our first step was to create a design center that allows the residents of Eastchester Gardens the opportunity to personally engage with the color schemes, material options, and design visuals, giving a voice to the residents in the final design choices. Once the renovations in the complex are completed, the design center will switch to function as a community room. What was once a dark and dingy basement is now transformed to a bright and spacious space for residents to gather. This week, 1940 Turnbull in the Bronx had its ribbon cutting. This 14-story building has a total of 154 comfortable units of senior housing, a portion of which are designated affordable. Amenities include shared laundry room, package room, bicycle storage, comprehensive support services, on-site superintendent, community room, and an outdoor terrace. This project was built in partnership with Consigli Construction Co., Inc. and Josh Siegel's team at Pembroke Companies. #seniorliving #affordablehousing #bronx

202 Tillary St. is shaping into one of the most prominent residential buildings in Downtown Brooklyn. 1601 Dekalb Avenue was recently featured on YIMBY. This project will provide affordable housing and supportive services, coordinated in partnership with Camber Property Group and RiseBoro Community Partnership. This building will provide a combination of studios, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units for a total of 127 apartments, and is designed to be energy-efficient with all electric heating and cooling systems.
