Only 6 weeks until Atlas Network’s Liberty Forum and Freedom Dinner! In preparation for the event, I want to highlight our Templeton Freedom Award Finalists who will be taking the stage in New York City. The Templeton Freedom Award is Atlas Network’s most prestigious award that recognizes our partners’ outstanding contributions to the freedom movement. The winner of the award takes home a $100,000 prize. Bendukidze Free Market Center in Ukraine has made immense strides for economic literacy in the country despite the ongoing Russian invasion. Its Economic Education Accelerator program is aimed at reintroducing comprehensive economic education in Ukraine’s schools. Bendukidze Free Market Center has already reached almost 600 schools and nearly 10,000 students. Please join me in giving them a round of applause for their accomplishments. 👏🏼 Bendukidze Free Market Center will be represented by Наталія Мельник (Nataliya Melnyk), and we are excited to have them as a TFA finalist! 🇺🇦 You can follow Bendukidze Free Market Center on Facebook here: https://lnkd.in/eyCaN6Bw Click here to learn more about the Templeton Freedom Award and this year’s finalists: https://lnkd.in/eDAyjxd6

In Burundi’s agricultural economy, land ownership is a necessary prerequisite for most people to provide for their families. But time and time again, women have inherited land only to have it stripped away due to legal and cultural factors, leaving them without the means to earn a living. Atlas Network partner organization CDE Great Lakes is helping change this through their "Why Women" initiative, ensuring women’s property rights are respected and protected. This initiative is driving economic mobility and inspiring legal reforms that give Burundian women greater agency in their communities. Learn more about how property rights are changing lives in Burundi by reading the full article at the link: https://lnkd.in/e3DBXMzh
