  • Today, we are highlighting Patricia Torras, Creative Manager, Boca Raton Corporate Office for #HispanicHeritageMonth ✨What does your Hispanic heritage mean to you, and how has it shaped your personal or professional life? My Hispanic heritage is the foundation of who I am. Born in Miami and raised in South Florida to a mom from Montevideo and a dad from Madrid, I was quickly immersed in a vibrant blend of cultures, dialects, and traditions. The exposure has shaped my perspective on life, my great appreciation for diversity, and my passion for visual communication. It has given me a unique lens through which to view the world and a deep understanding of the power of storytelling. ✨What aspects of your culture are you most proud of, and how do you incorporate them into your daily life or work? I’m incredibly proud of the emphasis on community and family. The richness of shared experiences, the power of being loud and proud, and the bonds it creates are things I cherish deeply. Design is a universal language that can help unite people from different cultures, backgrounds, and abilities. It’s a chance to communicate globally that I take great pride in. My Uruguayan and Spanish roots have inspired my creativity, encouraging me to mix cultural elements with modern styles in a way that’s not only visually appealing but also meaningful and inclusive. ✨What advice would you give to the next generation of Hispanic professionals? My advice to the next generation is to embrace your heritage as a strength. No one can be you, but YOU! Don’t shy away from the unique perspectives and experiences that come with being part of a multicultural background. Network, seek mentorship, and share your voice—your ideas are valuable. Lastly, stay curious and learn from others, every interaction can enrich your understanding and creativity.
