Meet Scott! 😄 While attending Aspire’s Life Enrichment in-person academies, Scott can practice managing responsibilities. He is the first person to offer a helping hand by watering plants, sweeping the classroom, and helping distribute the daily PACE tickets – he finds true joy in making everyone’s day a little easier. Before landing his dream job, Scott faced numerous setbacks and struggled to build the skills and confidence to find a job. He is working hard with Aspire's employment team to continue learning the skills required for him to work at Mod Pizza. He has already mastered several responsibilities and is gaining new skills every day! 🍕 #WeAreAspire #PoweredbyPossible #NationalDisabilityEmploymentAwarenessMonth #NDEAM Serena Alaily, MBA

Aspire Chicago reposted this
Nonprofit Thought Leader | Fundraiser | Advocate for families and parents | Speaker | VP of Philanthropy at Aspire
What a special day yesterday was! Each year West Suburban Philanthropic Network gathers to celebrate and honor philanthropy in our suburban Chicago communities. As a surprise, I was honored with the President's Award. As an engaged with the event, helping out with things, typically observant type of person, a surprise is not something that happens often! Huge thank you to Chad Pedigo, Sarah O'Donnell, CPRP, and all of the WSPN team for the kind recognition of my time on the Board and Committees of WSPN (since 2016!). It's been an honor and a privilege to work with the incredible nonprofit community over this time and so excited for all the group continues to do! So grateful and honored, thank you again! A special thanks to Meghan Pioli (amazing colleague at Aspire Chicago), Megan Jolly, CRIS (sister), and my Dad for making it to the event as an extra surprise! #fundraiserslife #nonprofitfundraising #nonprofitleadership #WSPN #nonprofitunicorn
