Welcome Andi Boyd! She joins our StepOne Service team with December. ------- My name is Andi Boyd. I grew up in Kentucky and was exposed to addiction as a child through members of my family. I moved to Utah to go to the University of Utah and received a BS in Psychology. I have worked in multiple settings with adolescents who struggled with mental health issues and addiction. I moved to Vernal a few years ago to slow down my life but never lost my passion to help others. After losing a close loved one to an overdose last year, I pushed myself to apply for grad school and I will be starting Fall 2024 and working towards obtaining a Master’s in Social Work. When I saw the StepOne position posted, I knew that I was supposed to be there. I’ve seen people get lost in their addiction and not know where or how to get help. I look forward to being able to assist people in their recovery and provide them support and care.
