Archbold Memorial is proud to welcome our third class of internal medicine residents. These six physicians will spend the next three years at Archbold, rotating between specialties with an emphasis on internal medicine. Archbold's residency program helps to address the region's shortage of primary care physicians while providing training to the next generation of physicians. The team at Archbold Therapy & Sports Medicine recently received this kind message from the family members of a former patient. Every day at Archbold, we strive to provide compassionate care to the communities we serve. Our team at Archbold Therapy & Sports Medicine went above and beyond, and we are proud of the impact they made on this patient and her family.

Archbold recognized our nephrology unit this week for their patient safety efforts. Through their continued work to prevent infections, this team is fulfilling Archbold's mission to provide safe care for our communities. Great job, team!

Congratulations to Rhonda Singletary, Practice Manager, Archbold South Georgia Surgical, for being named Archbold's Leader of the Quarter for the Second Quarter of 2024. Rhonda’s nomination reads, “This leader always goes above and beyond not only for our providers, but for every member of our staff. She comes in early and stays late and gives countless hours of her own time to helping our practice run seamlessly. We have a great work environment (like a family) and this is to her credit as well. She is always willing to help no matter what the problem is even if it has nothing to do with our practice. We jokingly call her the “Building Superintendent” as she gets calls about the elevator or the parking lot as well. We have had a few crazy weeks recently to say the least and she has worked NON-STOP to get things done and keep things running smoothly. She rocks!” Thank you, Rhonda, for your selfless leadership and the example you set!
