Leading UK manufacturer of steel fabrication, Total Construction Supplies Ltd, introduced ADDA into its workflow last year. They've been putting ADDA's software tools to good use, developing #3D models of cages for the UK’s High Speed 2 (#HS2) railway infrastructure. Total’s Technical Detailing Manager Stephen Snape said ADDA has improved productivity for the team. “Traditional drawing of cages can be time-consuming. But, as its integrated into the #AutoCAD environment, ADDA has really accelerated the process. We’re using it to created end-to-end 3D visualisation, from design to fabrication, which is enabling precise and accurate modelling, exact measurements, and we’re seeing a reduction errors during fabrication.” #rebar #rebardetailing #civilconstruction #bim
