We have downlinked our first Aries “selfie” 📸 The image was taken by a camera mounted on the satellite bus’s payload deck. The selfie shows power, thermal, GNC, and communications all working together to acquire and downlink the photograph. The camera captures one of the deployed solar panels in the foreground, with the Azores Islands and Atlantic Ocean in the background. On the solar panel, Apex’s logo and a picture of the team are visible. https://lnkd.in/g4mSTHxZ

Spacecraft Manufacturing
About us
Spacecraft represent the most pressing need across the entire aerospace industry. As more launch vehicles come online and the cost to orbit decreases, more companies launching payloads to space continue to emerge. For the first time in history, this influx of payload companies combined with reduced launch costs has resulted in a massive increase in need for commercial spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. These buses hold the payloads of our customers and are flown on launch vehicles. Apex manufactures these satellite buses at scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware that is designed for manufacturing. Our spacecraft enable the future of society: ranging from earth observation to communications and more. We’d love for you to join us on our mission of providing humankind access to the galaxy beyond our planet.

GEO, Meet Aries Today, we released GEO Aries. The first productized micro satellite bus platform designed for GEO missions. From communications to sensing— GEO Aries is ready to support you in a new orbital regime. Available for order today on our website, base model starts at $13.5M and is designed to fit a traditional ESPA port on in-use OTVs. Apex is a product-first company, where we release platforms based on both current and future demand from customers. We take a very strategic approach to product releases, and with that lens, are excited to meet the needs of our customers. We continue to execute our product roadmap and are excited to unveil more product lines later this year. GEO Aries embodies what our customers demand: fast production, transparent pricing, and dependability. GEO Aries is available for sale today for delivery in just over 18mo (lead times will shrink even shorter soon). And pricing is crystal clear: $13.5M for the base model. GEO Aries is dependable: based on our flight proven Aries bus platform (still operating nominally serving customer payloads and our own experiments!) and tweaks it for a GEO environment (radiation, ADCS, comms, OTV compatibility). That reliability is especially important in an era of many recent in-space early ending mission failures of other platform providers. Ready to fly your operational micro GEO mission? Reach out! https://lnkd.in/g-sZbpYg
