We had an incredible experience showcasing our innovative Energy Boss hybrid power system at the Sustainability Expos hosted by Multiplex at the Etobicoke Civic Centre and Kitchener Indoor Recreational Complex. It was an honor to connect directly with site personnel, trades, and industry peers as we work together towards decarbonizing the construction industry!
As we enter October I would like to reflect on the incredible Sustainability Month we had at Multiplex. From staff training to engagement on the construction sites to expert events we had a lot going on, but let’s start with a real gem – our Sustainability Expos. The goal of the Sustainability Expos is to raise awareness, spark conversations, inspire change and empower action towards decarbonization. We held the expos at two of our construction sites – Etobicoke Civic Centre and Kitchener Indoor Recreational Complex – with our fantastic partner Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited. I can’t thank Steve Wilkin and Rod Lentino enough for their leadership and enthusiasm for the expos. An impressive line-up of vendors showcased their innovative low carbon equipment currently available in the market. There is nothing better than making the direct connection between the site personnel and the solution providers. Thank you to our staff, trades, project partners and industry peers who join us to learn and explore opportunities to reduce emissions as we work together towards decarbonizing the construction industry. A big shutout to all the vendors who participated in the expos: ⭐ Cratos Equipment showcasing their battery mini track loader ⭐ ANA, Inc and their Energy Boss hybrid generator ⭐ Axiom Equipment Group with their Metrolite electric and hybrid tower lights ⭐ JCB showcasing their battery excavator ⭐ Milwaukee Tool and their battery hand tools ⭐ Wacker Neuson showcasing their battery light compaction ⭐ Allmand Bros., Inc. with their innovative light towers ⭐ The Toro Company showcasing their battery concrete buggy ⭐ Manulift showcasing Merlo telehandler ⭐ Hilti Group and their battery powered tools ⭐ Canada Clean Fuels Inc discussing bio-diesel application Can't wait until Multiplex's Sustainability Month next year to do this all over again bigger and better. #Multiplex #MultiplexMoments #Decarbonization #ElectricEquipment #Sustainability #Construction
