The American Academy of Audiology was founded in January 1988 and is the world’s largest professional organization of, by and for audiologists. Representing the interests of audiologists and audiology students nationwide, the Academy is dedicated to providing quality hearing-care services through professional development, education, research, and increased public awareness of hearing and balance disorders. The Academy asks that followers of any of our official pages (or affiliated groups) not post any negative, offensive, denigrating, and/or completely out of context content, pictures, or videos that could be regarded as spam. Any post may be removed at the discretion of Academy Board of Directors and senior leadership staff. When referencing, tagging, or linking to any Academy-related social media platform, avoid using statements, photos, video, or audio that could be viewed as malicious, obscene, threatening, intimidating, or that might constitute harassment or bullying, or as an endorsement of a particular product or service.
