Cooper Aerial Surveys Co.'s Jim Crume P.L.S., M.S., CFedS, RP and Zachary Radel are honored to be working directly with the Arizona Geographic Information Council (AGIC) UAS Workgroup in cooperation with the Phoenix Fire Department and Bad Elf, LLC.     In addition to the above support teams, Alta Southwest and Surveyors Source LLC have generously offered to sponsor breakfast and lunch for registered attendees.  The breakfast will be available for the hour prior to the demonstrations at the park and lunch will be boxed sandwiches at the Fire House.     This workshop will be technically focused. It is planned to be a deep dive into planning, flying and processing a UAS mission. From What to Why and How. Flight Planning Tips, Sensor Settings, Ground Control Panel Layouts, and Photogrammetry requirements. We will also be discussing industry standard projections & coordinate systems.    UAS demonstrations will be held in the morning at Desert Foothills Park. The afternoon presentation session will be held near the park at Phoenix Fire House #43.      A detailed agenda with location information, parking instructions for the afternoon session, and virtual meeting connection information (for the afternoon presentations only) will be sent out to registered attendees prior to the event.     When: Thursday, October 5, 2023.  Demonstrations from 9am - 11:30am   Presentations from 1pm - 3pm.
