The 2024 Alpa Annual Conference, held on October 11th and 12th in Washington, DC, was a fantastic success! Participants joined both online and in-person, with sessions offered in Dari, Pashto, and English. The event featured inspiring speakers, engaging panels, and the largest turnout we've ever had. It was an incredible opportunity for scholars across the world to connect, share insights, and learn from each other. ALPA Mentorship Program We are starting our first one-on-one mentorship program for Afghan girls. Through this program, students will work directly with mentors, who will assist them with undergrad and graduate scholarship applications. It is open to high school graduates, and university students and graduates. The form will close by the end of this month.
