In colorectal cancer (CRC), where genetic factors play a pivotal role in understanding pathophysiology, identifying differentially expressed genes is essential for advancing diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment strategies. Re-analyzing public RNA-seq data is crucial for validating findings and uncovering new insights, but managing and analyzing such data can be challenging. The Almaden Genomics g.nome® platform simplifies this process, offering end-to-end functionality that covers everything from data acquisition, to visualization, to tertiary analysis, enabling researchers to quickly uncover gene expression patterns. To demonstrate this, we conducted a differential gene expression analysis on RNA-seq data from CRC patients, re-analyzing four transcriptomics datasets from the Sequence Read Archive (SRA) referenced in a study by Hosseini & Nemati.
