To help bring awareness to Suicide Prevention Month (held annually in September), UHS formed a collaboration between the Acute Care and Behavioral Health divisions in support of Turner Construction and the many highly skilled and dedicated men and women on our job site. Earlier today we invited our partners to the north, Coral Shores Behavioral Health, to participate in our Friday In-service for our team on the site of our new hospital. As the sun was rising to the east, Amanda Welch, Clinical Services Director of Coral Shores, reviewed the signs and symptoms of depression and suicide to help support coworkers and promote teamwork on the job site. Amanda also highlighted how individuals have help available 24/7 by calling 988.

Recently we had the honor and privilege of meeting with CREW Palm Beach Treasure Coast; a premier business networking organization dedicated to influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women. During our meeting, we shared a construction update, highlighted some of the programs that will be offered at the hospital, and discussed the healthcare landscape in Palm Beach County. We're so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with this great organization!
