We are Alameda County. Helping People in Our Community Since 1996.
About us
Alameda Alliance for Health is a public, not-for-profit managed care health plan committed to making quality health care services accessible and affordable to lower-income people of Alameda County. Established in 1996, the Alliance was created by and for Alameda County residents. The Alliance provides health care coverage to over 270,000 low-income children and adults through two programs: Medi-Cal and Alliance Group Care. With over 20 years of service to the community, the Alliance continues to demonstrate that the managed care model can achieve the highest standard of care and successfully meet the individual needs of health plan members. We remain deeply committed to our mission and look forward to many more years of serving the health care needs of Alameda County residents. Our members' optimal health is always our first priority.

"Together we can". Today on International Overdose Awareness Day, join us as we raise awareness to the importance of this day and the power of community when we all stand together. Globally, in the year 2021, it was estimated that out of 296 million people – one in every 17 aged 15-64 – had used a drug in the past 12 months, a 23 percent increase from 2011. You are not alone. There is hope.
