Ground- level Loading Technology- The new way of loading and towing.

About us

Over 20 years ago, Air-tow Trailers developed the world’s first drop-deck trailer and have been leading the industry in innovation and engineering since. In 1996, the owners/engineers designed and patented a drop-deck trailer called the Triple L Trailer. (“Triple L” standing for “Lower-Load-Lift”.) Safety and labor savings were the main objectives in designing this new style trailer. Being able to load equipment or cargo at ground-level completely eliminated the need for dangerous loading ramps, difficult tilt beds or under size lift gates. Equipment requiring two or more people to load, could now be accomplished with one person. Light and heavy equipment movers across the nation realized the benefits and the trailer quickly became a hit. Over the years, many new industries and markets were seeking out the original trailer design and were requesting new, upgraded features. Today’s equipment continues to be more complex with some items having sensitive electronic components where a soft smooth ride becomes important. Based on these requests, the owners developed the upgraded and innovated Air-tow Trailer line. Since the most requested upgrade was a better towing trailer, a completely unique air suspension feature was included on the trailer. This was, and still is, not found on any other trailer on the market. This fully automatic, self-contained, dual air suspension system adjusts for the exact weight you are carrying. It also compensates for any difference in weight from side to side. In addition to protecting your load, there is less abuse on the trailer as well as the tow vehicle. With over 20 years of building drop-deck trailers, Air-tow can boast many thousands of trailers in use across America and around the world. Flex Trailers Inc., DBA Air-tow Trailers, is known for developing highly engineered, quality built products that serve many niche markets.

SAFETY: Air-tow Trailers’ innovative design prioritizes safety. With Air-tow’s ground-level loading capabilities, the risk of accidents associated with tilt beds, dangerous ramps, or steep inclines is significantly reduced. With Air-tow’s unique air suspension, the deck automatically adjusts, ensuring a level ride. In harsh weather conditions, ground-level loading reduces the risks of equipment slipping or sliding. This technology guarantees safer loading and unloading procedures for both operators and equipment. EFFICIENCY: Air-tow’s hydraulic lift system quickens the loading and unloading process, saving valuable time and effort. Its user-friendly design allows for speedy and hassle-free operations, enhancing overall workflow efficiency. LABOR SAVINGS: By eliminating the need for manual lifting or using additional equipment, the Air-tow Trailer significantly reduces the labor required for loading and unloading tasks. This not only saves on manpower costs but also minimizes the risk of worker injuries associated with heavy lifting. EQUIPMENT PRESERVATION: Unlike traditional trailers with ramps, Air-tow's ground-level loading design eliminates the risk of damage to low-clearance equipment. By providing a smooth loading surface it prevents scrapes, dents, and other potential harm, ultimately extending the lifespan of valuable equipment and reducing maintenance costs over time. QUALITY: Air-tow Trailers are built to the highest standards. The Air-tow deck is made exclusively of 7 gauge steel. Each trailer also features eight heavy-duty duty “D” rings, adjustable safety chains, and an adjustable coupler. With deliberate engineering and design, durable materials, and precise craftsmanship, Air-tow is a high-quality investment that is built to last.
