We take a moment to recognize all who are impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton and appreciate those who have assisted in recovery efforts. We are grateful that all of our teammates are safe, and our hearts are with those who lost their homes and livelihoods. Every year, Air Methods’ volunteer Hurricane Response Team stands by to be deployed when needed. These pilots, clinicians, and mechanics from across the country help support both our local teammates and our partners impacted by storms. Recovery is truly a community effort that takes time and collaboration. While it’s often difficult to find the rainbow at the end of a terrible storm, our teams remain ready to serve whenever called upon. 📷 Bayflite 4 in Inverness, FL

Elevating Critical Care
About us
Quality emergency care doesn’t begin in the hospital emergency room – it begins at the scene of the accident or the moment a life-threatening illness strikes. Air Methods has a talented workforce of over 4,500 team members, which includes the best in the air medical industry. We are pilots, clinicians, mechanics, air communications specialists, support teams and many more. We’re ready to answer the call because we know someone’s life is on the line. We dedicate ourselves around the clock to maintain equipment and supplies, coordinate logistics and relentlessly provide the tools and expertise that allow us to give more tomorrows. From the front lines to the phone lines, we believe our status as the industry leader – and the importance we place on our mission statement and core values – allow us to attract the highest level of talented professionals. More than 20% of our team members are U.S. veterans, active duty or in the reserves. Our comprehensive aviation, clinical and maintenance training is as robust as it is intense. And our continuous curriculum of learning and simulation-based training is unmatched in the industry. We are ready to save lives at every moment of every day, with over 300 bases of operations serving 48 states. In rural communities, that kind of reach of care is crucial. Emergency air medical transport and treatment is often the only access to lifesaving emergency care they have – providing access to millions of people who otherwise would not have been able to make it to a trauma center. We also operate eight maintenance centers of excellence throughout the nation and a national communications center. Although we call Greenwood Village, Colorado, home, we are only a call away.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Air Evac Lifeteam following the devastating news of yesterday's fatal accident in Owenton, KY. We extend our condolences to the families and everyone impacted by this tragedy. While this is not an Air Methods program, we are a close-knit community and when one hurts, we all hurt.

Congratulations to our Native Air bases in Alamogordo, Las Cruces, and Silver City, NM, each celebrating 20 years of service. They came together for a special event to mark this milestone, and based on the number of people who came and wanted to share a few words of appreciation, they are valued by the communities of the White Sands area. We look forward to another 20 years of these crews providing the best care in the air. Congrats, Native Air 31 Las Cruces, NM, Native Air 32, and Native Air 35- Alamogordo! 🎉 Want to be a part of this longstanding and well-respected program? Our mechanics are typically behind the scenes and are hard to find as they are grinding away to ensure we are mission-ready. Somehow, the AirLift Texas crew captured their team of mechanics. We’re always appreciative of our teammates and the work they do to ensure we stay committed to the highest level of safe operations.
