AIChE Annual Student Conference w/ TAMU AIChE! TAMU AIChE is excited to share that twelve of our members attended the 2024 AIChE Annual Student Conference in San Diego! We had the opportunity to network with chemical engineering students from around the world, get career advice from professionals in the industry, and learn how we can improve our chapter! We want to say a huge thank you to AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers for organizing this wonderful event and to Marianna Fong and Estelle Archambeau for planning the trip to the conference. We can’t wait to share with other members all of our learnings and we are looking forward to the next AIChE Annual Conference in Boston!

K-12 OUTREACH WITH TAMU AIChE! In addition to the Chemistry Open House, AIChE had the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Envision Competitions! Members guided middle school students in a hands-on molecule building challenge, where students got to learn about the fundamental aspects of chemical engineering! Through teamwork, problem-solving, and a focus on improving process efficiency, we had the chance to share our passion for chemical engineering and inspire future engineers! Thank you to the Student Engineers' Council at Texas A&M University for organizing this wonderful event and to our VP External Estelle Archambeau and Society Representative Morgan Pursell! We are looking forward to inspiring more students to join engineering.

FUN SCIENCE WITH TAMU AIChE! Thank you to the Texas A&M Department of Chemistry for inviting our AIChE Chapter to present at their 36th Annual Chemistry Open House! Our community service committee came together to educate the Bryan-College Station community about the fundamental laws of thermodynamics through exciting demonstrations using interactive hand boilers! We had the opportunity to share the details of chemical engineering with so many amazing people, and hopefully inspired a new generation of Chemical Engineers! Thank you to the Texas A&M College of Arts & Sciences and Department of Chemistry - Texas A&M University for hosting this wonderful event, and to our community service chair Cynthia Anderson for helping organize the fun demonstrations! It really was a blast

Howdy! TAMU AIChE is thrilled to share that six of our members had the inspiring opportunity to attend the 2024 American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) Summit in New Orleans! We’re extremely grateful for the chance to learn from industry leaders in energy and petrochemicals and to bring that knowledge back to our chapter. A huge thank you to the AFPM staff, especially Gordon Robertson, Lara Swett, and Robina Ahmed, for making this experience possible! We’re excited to continue to grow our chapter, providing even more professional opportunities for our members. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from TAMU AIChE!
