Youth Agvocates 🤝 Grow-NY Pitch Contest Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting on How to Craft a Winning Pitch to the youth finalists in the Grow-NY competition! Grow-NY is an international food and agtech competition awarding $3M in investments to startups every year. Agency 29 has had a winning client in the main competition every year since it started in 2019. 🤘 The Youth Competition at Grow-NY is organized by NY Agriculture in the Classroom, Cornell University and Grow-NY. I’ve been a judge in prior years and am delighted to help support emerging ag leaders with presentations like this. I highly recommend attending the Grow-NY Summit which is taking place in Ithaca, NY (Finger Lakes Region) on November 6 and 7. You can watch the main stage pitches and see which of the finalists takes home the $3M in prize investment. If you’re attending, please make a point of also watching and supporting the youth pitches on Monday the 6th. Get your tickets at www.grow-ny.com. Grow-NY is on the horizon, and we’re buzzing with excitement! 🐝🌱 Next week, catch our busy bees Maureen, Michela, Donna, Olivia, and Jeff swarming around the event. They’ll be the ones with the contagious energy and probably a few too many cups of coffee. ☕️ Good luck to everyone pitching their innovative ideas. We can’t wait to see what’s in store! 🌱

🍏 Ever wonder how we ended up with such a wide variety of crisp, juicy apples year-round? Apple research is more complex—and fascinating—than you might think! Featured in this article is Susan Brown, an apple researcher at Cornell University, who sheds light on the genetic lottery involved in apple breeding. She’s also our upcoming guest on Spilled Salt. If you enjoy this article, you'll definitely want to tune in on November 13th when Susan joins Maureen on the show. Mark your calendars! https://lnkd.in/guDkCsbf

Pixels, passion, and a dash of bitters! Theresa Ferrell loves bringing brands to life through social media. Creating content for clients like Fee Brothers is one of her top highlights. Getting hands-on and experimenting with creating content that connects with audiences and showcases the passion behind the products is what she does best! And yes, she did try these recipes herself. 👩🍳 📷: Apple cider with Fee Brothers Cardamom Bitters 📷: Stuffing with Fee Brothers West Indian Orange Bitters
