Following a lawsuit filed by 16 states challenging the Biden Administration’s Parole in Place (PIP) program, a Federal District Judge in Texas has ordered that the program be temporarily paused for 14 days. According to the judge’s decision, USCIS may continue to accept PIP applications but cannot approve them. African Communities Together (ACT) is extremely disappointed by this decision and reaffirms the importance of the PIP program to provide humanitarian relief and ensure family unity for many of our members. https://lnkd.in/eCHvh8GM
