“Look for the helpers.” In times of crisis, there are always people stepping up to make things better. 💛 Whether it’s hurricanes, wildfires, or any disaster, kids can feel overwhelmed. By validating their emotions and showing them the helpers, we can guide them through these challenging moments. Helping children process what’s happening can start with something as simple as sitting together, breathing deeply, and finding calm. Then, encourage them to help in their own way—small acts of kindness, like donating supplies or making cards, can make a big difference. 🌟 For those impacted by Hurricane Helene, we’re doing everything we can to support communities in North Carolina and Appalachia. Our CEO @shenandoahdavis is collecting donations via Venmo and delivering critical supplies to teams on the ground in Marion and Raleigh. You can help, too! Scan the QR codes at the end of these slides to donate and to find resources and local organizations making an impact. Please stay out of the area unless you’re part of an aid organization. And if your fall plans in the region are affected, be gracious and patient as vendors focus on recovery. The Adventure Nannies team had the absolute best time connecting with so many incredible nannies and industry leaders at Nannypalooza East this year! 💛 There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by passionate, dedicated nannies investing in their careers and profoundly impacting the next generation. However, amongst the fun and excitement, we have to acknowledge the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, particularly in pockets of rural Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina, where many of our friends—including our CEO Shenandoah—live.  After making it to Raleigh to spread some love at Nannypalooza and load up with supplies, Shenandoah headed back into the heart of the destruction to bring vtail supplies to her family and neighbors. Please keep her and everyone affected in your thoughts. If you have the capacity, consider donating to reputable aid organizations to support the millions of people who need assistance in the coming weeks and months.
