🔬 Revolutionizing Tumor Spheroid Workflows: Robot vs. Human 🤖🧪 In the rapidly advancing field of drug discovery and screening, the precision and efficiency of spheroid culture techniques are crucial. Our recent update showcases how automation with the BioAssembly™ Platform is setting new standards in tumor spheroid workflows. ✨ Key Insights: Automated Precision: Our BioAssemblyBot® 400, integrated with BioStorageBot™ and ImageXpress® Confocal HT.ai, automates the entire process of spheroid fabrication, culture, and imaging. This ensures greater consistency and reduces the risk of human error. Improved Efficiency: Automation not only speeds up the workflow but also enhances spheroid morphology. For instance, automated spheroid formation achieved 81.25% successful domes compared to 72.0% manually. Consistency Matters: Daily culture medium exchanges and imaging via automation resulted in fewer spheroid fragments and better size consistency compared to manual methods. 📈 Results: Size & Quality: Automated spheroids maintained a larger average diameter and consistent growth compared to manually handled ones.
