    The "Risk Arbitrage" Secret to Profitably Scaling Advertising Campaigns 🚀 I recently spoke with a business owner who was spending $50k a month on ads, getting a 3-4X ROAS (return on ad spend). He told me he wanted to scale but was worried about if it didn't work. I asked him if he was familiar with a concept called "Risk Arbitrage" And I proceeded to explain how he should think about the decision to scale an ad campaign based on the arbitrage opportunity that he has. Here's how it works: Know Your Goal: First, get crystal clear on what you're aiming for. Is it maximizing revenue? Increasing profit? Maintaining a specific ROAS? Do the Math: Let's say you're spending $50k and making $150k (3X return). What happens if you spend an extra $25k? - Good case: You maintain 3X and make an additional $75k - Bad case: You lose the $25k - Breakeven: You make back the $25k Spot the Arbitrage: Here's where it gets exciting. You're risking $25k for a potential gain of $75k. That's Risk Arbitrage - when your potential upside outweighs your downside. (note this is a simplistic example - you also want to factor in your costs & see where there are opportunities to optimize your existing ads) Make the Call: If you're aiming to maximize revenue, this is a no-brainer. Even if you don't hit the best-case scenario, you're likely to come out ahead. Think of it like this: If you walked into a Vegas casino and saw a game where you could triple your money 75% of the time, and only lose your initial bet 25% of the time, you'd play all day long! That's the power of Risk Arbitrage in advertising. But What If It Doesn't Work? Here's the kicker - even if you don't hit that 3X return, you're still winning. Why? Because you're gaining invaluable data about your ad performance and your scaling limits. This knowledge is pure gold for future campaigns. Remember, in marketing, we either WIN or we LEARN. There's no losing when you look at it that way! The Bottom Line - If your goal is to maximize revenue and profit, and you're seeing strong returns, don't be afraid to scale. Use the Risk Arbitrage framework to make informed decisions about when to push your ad spend. Of course, if you're looking to maintain a specific ROAS or have other constraints, you might need to approach scaling differently. But for many businesses, this concept can be a total game-changer. I remember a client we were working with who wanted to hit $100k/mo - and he didn't know why he kept getting stuck at $70-80k/mo, I took a look at his numbers and he was getting a 5x+ ROAS, I pointed out that he could simply increase his ad spend by $10k & even if his ROAS dropped a bit he would likely hit his target. That's exactly what he did & he overshot that target & ended up at over $110k the next month! That's the power of Risk Arbitrage!

In a year, you'd be 37 times better! That's not 37% better – that's 37 TIMES better. Mind-blown yet? 🤯 Let's break this down into actionable steps: 1. Daily Ad Review Ritual Set aside 15 minutes every single day to review your ad performance. Look at your key metrics. 2. The "Atomic" Split Test Instead of making massive changes, run micro split tests. Test one small element at a time. Remember, we're aiming for 1% improvements. These small wins compound over time! 3. The Habit Stacking Technique for Ad Creation Clear talks about "habit stacking" – linking a new habit to an existing one. After [CURRENT HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT]. For example: "After I check my email each morning, I will spend at least 15 minutes checking & optimizing my Ads." 4. I offered to map it all out for him, and I want to give it to you as well! 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼: The first step is to Create a Weekly 7-15 minute YouTube Video sharing your expertise - this will be the foundation of your entire Content Repurposing Strategy. How do you create a YouTube Video? First, come up with different topics of videos you can record & film. An easy way to do this is by looking at all the common questions your ideal clients have on sales calls, your current clients have on coaching calls & by using a tool like AnswerThePublic to see what questions your ideal clients are asking online. Once you’ve brainstormed a few ideas - start to turn those into YouTube Titles. For instance, if I wanted to make a video about my YouTube Content Repurposing Framework, I would likely write down the title: “The YouTube Content Repurposing Framework - How to Turn One Video into 3 Dozen Pieces of Content” Then look at the titles you created – which of these appear to be a compelling YouTube video? Put yourself in the mind of your ideal client & ask yourself which you would click on & watch. Once you’ve come up with the topic you have 2 options (depending on your style) - Write a Script OR - Film the Video from Intuition Depending on your style, you may want to write out a full YouTube video script & then load that into a teleprompter (there’s some great ones on Amazon & even teleprompter apps for iPads & iPhones) Or you may want to film the video naturally from Intuition - especially if you’re used to Coaching Live, just pretend you’re coaching on a specific topic to someone & speak directly at the camera sharing your expertise around the subject! Usually what I’ll do is a bit of a hybrid, I’ll come up with the YouTube Title & some bullet points of what I want to hit & then I’ll do the video content itself from Intuition! In terms of filming the video you’ll want to find an area where you can record that feels natural to you, I usually film in my office (even though I have a greenscreen film studio) as I’ve found the office itself feels more natural & authentic! You can use a professional camera - or you can get a Tripod & setup your iPhone (those cameras have 4K lenses these days!) and remember you can also use a Teleprompter app to help you out as well if needed!
