Huge congratulations to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry team for being honored with Web Marketing Association's Government Standard of Excellence award for 2024. We love #remotelife, but sometimes it’s nice to get together in person. Last week, we hosted a meetup in Boston with members of our executive team and folks from the area. We got together for a day of co-working, connection, and fun. Jon Bindbeutel, a team member who attended the event, had this to say: “Despite our remote-first work style, Ad Hoc encourages us to make connections outside our immediate teams by bringing those around us together to celebrate the work we do. These kinds of events demonstrate the commitment our leaders have to incorporating our ideas on how to make Ad Hoc more successful and a better place to work for everyone, and it's a blessing.”

As part of the recent Policy2Code Prototyping Challenge, our team explored how large language models (LLMs) could enhance the delivery of public benefits. Read our latest blog post from Deirdre Holub and Mark Headd to learn more about how AI can help translate complex public benefits program policies into plain language and software code. https://lnkd.in/g76WUVrJ #AI #GovTech

As a remote-first company, we excel at virtual collaboration. But every now and then, our teams have the chance to get together in person. Recently, our People Operations leadership team met at our office in VA for some focused brainstorming and planning. During their time together, they had engaging, meaningful discussions about ways to continue making Ad Hoc a great place to work. We love to see those smiling faces! Tomorrow’s the big day! Deirdre Holub and Mark Headd will be representing Ad Hoc during the Policy2Code Prototyping Challenge Demo Day event at BenCon 2024. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, creativity, and innovation our team has poured into developing a prototype that tests how AI, guided by a domain-specific language, can translate dense policy documents into both plain language and clean, functional code. Our team is excited to share their findings, and we look forward to seeing all the other teams' presentations as well. Let’s go, Ad Hoc!
