📆 Save the Date! Wednesday 18th September is National Fitness Day and the Active Team are planning a day of competitions and classes, we would love you to join us! We will be hosting some fun challenges, as well as free access to the gyms at Les Quennevais and Springfield, and classes (on a first come, first served basis, classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance) to give everyone the opportunity to be active this National Fitness Day! FB Fields' Athletics facility has earned Trackmark Accreditation from UK Athletics, allowing it to host competitive events, huge well done to our wonderful Grounds Team for all their hard work! 👏 This achievement is notable given the damage from Storm Ciaran, which destroyed much of the throwing and jumping equipment. Repairs included replacing the High Jump and Polevault, fixing the throwing cages, and track repairs.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to respond to our Active Youth Survey, we received over 300 responses! We’re using these responses to help shape new youth programs and Active membership for young people at our Sports Centres.

Huge congratulations to our wonderful team at Fort Regent who were recently awarded the I&E Living Our Values Customer Focus Award. The Infrastructure and Environment department's recognition scheme, launched in summer 2024, rewards individuals or teams in I&E who have gone the extra mile. A huge well done to the team!

We’re pleased to confirm that work is progressing well at Les Quennevais and is currently on track. The first-floor gym and spinning room reopened as planned yesterday, following the installation of new electrical distribution boards. Thank you for your patience while these works took place. A reminder that the pools remain closed until Monday 2nd September. Langford Swimming Pool is available for lane and family swimming sessions which must be booked in advance via the Active Jersey app or by calling 01534 449888.
