As we reflect on Women's Equality Day, we're reminded of the ongoing journey toward equal opportunities and the importance of leadership that uplifts and empowers. Erica Bigley, Vice President of Communications at Achieve, shares her mother's impact on her career today. As a dedicated teacher who led with compassion, strength, and a deep commitment to her students, her mother's empathetic leadership continues to inspire how Erica guides her team today. In this reflection, Erica shares, "My mom, all five feet of her, commanded respect no matter where she stood. I was amazed when I would come to watch her teach Shakespeare to vocational school seniors, many towering over her by more than a foot. But they sat, read along as the characters, and participated with joy and laughter. No matter who she was engaging with, her confidence and ability to connect with people allowed her to lead people in any size of the room." Who has inspired your career journey? Let them know in the comments, and check out the rest of the story on our blog ➡ https://bit.ly/3yWXeWN #weareachieve #womensequalityday #career #leadership

What do you think empowerment for women really means 🤔 Today, we honor the legacy of Women's Equality Day, commemorating a moment that marks the historic strides made toward gender equality and the barrier-breaking activists who paved the way for the adoption of the nineteenth amendment in 1920. As we honor the achievements of women, we solidify our pledge to lawful equality. Linda Luman, Achieve’s EVP of Human Resources, says it best: "I think there are things we can do as women within the organization as well. Advocate for each other. Be that coach, be that counselor, be that person that encourages women to go for it, to not look back, just go for it, and to have confidence in their abilities. We all need that. But especially if you are the only woman in a meeting, you need that support. I just encourage everyone to go out and connect with other women and learn and soak it all up. We're not islands. We are all experiencing the same things. We have so much more in common that we can really support each other and empower each other." Let’s continue to shatter ceilings and uplift each other every single day 💪 #weareachieve #womensequalityday

Barrier-breaking warriors empower generations, and we all have a role when it comes to advocating for women in our communities and workplaces. This intimate discussion between Linda Luman, EVP of Human Resources, and Erica Bigley, VP of Corporate Communications at Achieve, highlights the evolution from a time of very limited career paths to women leading organizations and sitting at the decision-making table. On Women’s Equality Day, we take a longer pause to reflect on the strides we’ve made toward gender equality while acknowledging the work that still lies ahead. Imagine a future where the conversation isn't just about having a seat at the table, but more to do with how we're leading companies, innovating, and shaping the world. Together, we can empower the next generation of women to “go for it” without hesitation—and with the belief that they belong wherever they choose to be. #weareachieve

WEIGH IN BELOW: What do you think is really driving debt these days? While inflation remains a lingering concern for consumers, other financial hurdles are starting to take center stage. According to a new study by the Achieve Center for Consumer Insights, job loss and reduced income are the leading reasons why consumers are falling behind on their bills, with 18% of respondents citing it as the primary cause. Achieve Co-Founder and Co-CEO Andrew Housser said it best, “In a sign of the beginnings of a choppy job market, more and more consumers are being impacted by reduced income or job loss. Combine that with interest rates still near decades-long highs, and consumers with significant levels of debt are finding it difficult to make ends meet.” #welcometoachieve #debt #jobloss #inflation
