STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF CONGRESSMAN BILL PASCRELL, JR. (TRENTON) ACECNJ President Joseph A. Fiordaliso issued the following statement on the passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr.: “During a nearly three-decade career in the United States House of Representatives, Congressman Pascrell was a relentless advocate for his constituents, a dedicated public servant and a leader who never wavered in his commitment to doing what was right. He was a champion of investment in water and transportation infrastructure who believed that a strong network of roads, bridges and transit systems not only strengthened our economy, it literally created pathways of opportunity by connecting people to jobs and education. Pascrell fought fiercely for New Jersey and proudly delivered time and again for his constituents. On behalf of our consulting engineering member firms in New Jersey and across the nation, I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Pascrell family, the legions of current and former Pascrell staffers, and the residents of the 9th Congressional District who knew, admired and respected him.” About ACECNJ: The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ) is the leading advocate for New Jersey’s consulting engineering profession, striving to enhance the business practices of professional engineering companies in the planning, design and construction industry. ACECNJ’s current membership includes 115 engineering firms employing more than 5,500 people in New Jersey alone.
