Retirement Plan Contribution Changes (2024): The contribution limit for employees who contribute to 401(k) and 403(b) plans increases to $23,000 annually (up from $22,500). Employees aged 50 and over can contribute an additional $7,500, for a total of $30,500. The IRA contribution limit for 2024 is $7,000 for workers below the age of 50 and $8,000 for those over 50. This is an increase from 2023 ($6,500 and $7,500 for people over 50).  Health savings account (HSA) Contribution Changes (2024): If you participate in an HSA plan, you can contribute more to your plan this year: up to $4,150 for individuals (Increased by $250) and up to $8,300 (Increased by $450) for families.

FINCEN released a brochure detailing information for the new Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Reports. We will be sending out letters to our clients soon detailing this further, and requesting the documentation we will need. We advise all of our Business-Owning Clients to view below and stay informed!

Mark Reder, CPA is the managing partner Accleo, LLC and has been in the accounting industry for over 40 years. Mark is a graduate of The University of Dayton. He is a resident of Glendale, and is married with three children and four grandchildren. In the community, Mark serves as the president of Queen City Foundation, Treasurer of Cheering for Charity Foundation, and has served on other boards including Cincinnati Ballet and National Hemophilia Foundation. He enjoys playing platform tennis, spending time with family and friends along with enjoying the Cincinnati restaurant scene. Mark works with business and individual clients with complex tax issues, assists with succession planning, mergers and acquisitions and overall business and CFO advice.
