FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid classes available! 💚🧠⛑ "The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders." - Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) Participants will complete 2 hours of self-paced online work in advance of the class, followed by a 6.5 hour group online class that will be held live online. There are courses planned in September, November, and December. The September course will have a live session on 9/20 at 4:30 pm EST (Register by 9/13).
