Our team had a terrific time in San Francisco last week leading a Train-the-Trainer session for CARMA agencies in the Bay Area. Thank you to our amazing ABLE instructional team - chris fusetti, Scot Huntsberry, Abigail Tucker, Gregory H., and Paul D. Watkins III, MS, CPM, INCI for making the class so engaging and impactful for participants. And thank you to our CARMA partners, Rob Kramer, Mike McNicholas, and Rob Patton for hosting and promoting the session, and for making sure we had delicious food! We certified a whole new group of ABLE instructors who will teach the principles and tactics of #activebystandership to their colleagues and will help promote an agency-wide culture where all officers and civilian personnel are empowered to intervene with one another to promote safety and wellness and to prevent or stop harm. And we even had time for a quick round of Top Golf (with wildly varying results). We're looking forward to returning to the Bay Area in May for our next Train-the-Trainer session. We are thrilled to continue bringing our evidence-informed program to our 28 California ABLE agencies, and to all of the more than 375 ABLE agencies across the U.S. and Canada. And we are very fortunate to be doing it with such a wonderful team!
