Congrats to Garrett for biking over 500 miles in Oct for charity! Here are his thoughts: "What could be more enjoyable and rewarding than bicycling to raise funds for a cancer free future? Intrigued by the American Cancer Society‘s challenge, which all told had about 40 other people from across the globe raising money for cancer research, some of my friends joined me in part for some of my rides. The challenge being to bicycle 300 miles in the month of October as part of their virtual online challenge. And although we set our initial donation goal of $25, A and H Insurance and many of my co-workers donated, raising $972. The enthusiasm motivated me to continue riding past the 300 mile mark, completing 512 miles instead. October’s riding summary took me 39 hours to complete, covering an elevation gain enough to eclipse Mt. Everest; 32,175.’ Let’s find a cure!" #charity #AmericanCancerSociety
